SYNOPSIS

A low north of the Adriatic will be shifting further northeastwards, while a field of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the west.

In the North Adriatic SW winds 6-16, initially in the open and along the west Istrian coast up to 20 knots. Elsewhere W and NW winds 4-12, in the open in the morning still up to 18 knots, diminishing toward the end of the day. Sea 2-3, calming in the South and Central Adriatic toward the end of the day to 1-2. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North Adriatic variably cloudy with a risk of rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly from midday, elsewhere mostly clear. Air temperatures will drop a little.
